I use an OTC puller with an OTC bearing separator.
I tried the ultimate puller and had very poor luck with it.

Ultimate puller for resi/light commerical.
Posi-Lok for light to medium commercial.
Hydraulic with a Porta-power for the big stuff.

I own the Ultimate Puller and the few times Ive had to use it, its done the job. As mentioned its good for small stuff as the depth isnt very great on it, The extensions that come with it could be a bit of a pain at times. They're good for stubborn Condensor fan motors and the like. Still the best method is scuffing the shaft w/ 180, PB blaster and an adjustable

I bought one of those ultimate pullers last summer for $50 and I just love it. It works on fan hubs and pulleys. You can't go wrong for that price. I just wish it would have included a carrying case.

I broke 3 ultimate pullers over the last few years, they're made of to soft a metal so I bought one just like them but it's made of steel. Tomorrow I post up a pic of the bad boy. Must weigh about 3 or 4 lbs.
