    NC.
You got your Lexington style and you got your Western Style.
Rest of the stuff called BBQ is just meat with stuff smeared on it.

I follow this guy on facebook as he mostly does Texas reviews, but he hits other areas as well. pretty spot-on reviews IMO. I've tried a few that he has rated high and was pleased each time.
I could easily waste a few hours just following the links on his page also

Best BBQ ive had is at Dinasaur BBQ...Rochester and Syracuse ny. Awesome ribs and pulled pork. And when you ride your bike you get get parking right in front. That's a motorcycle not a pedal one. Biker friendly joint.

    Quicks in KC!

I haven't made it up north of 95th street in a while, I need to run by and pick up a couple of slabs next time I'm getting parts.

Anyone know if they still have that Wednesday slab special?

    my fav. joint
The only place that come close is in Houston, it's called "a taste of Texas"... still, Peter Luger is the best, IMO.
Forget about Old Homestead steakhouse, overpriced and can't hold a candle to Peter Luger..

Looked at their web site, and I can report not a close second. They wet age the meat, and it is not prime.Lugers uses prime, hanging meat, dry aged. Most can't do that, too costly and a ton of waste. My Father sold meat by the train load and Luger was his favorite.Number 2 and 3 Sparks and Wolfgang's also in NYC
