    Getting by without a lockformer

Just curious what everyone does when they're too far from the shop to go back to make a piece? I hate when I'm on a job and I need to make a piece with and I have no lockformer. I've gotten by with S slip and the old 1" overlap but I hate doing it. Are there any portable tools for a pittsburgh lock?

I got my p-burg on that "auction site" for 800 smackers. Can bring it right to the job site!
