    Changed this furn. on Fri. Old 1960 GE. 130K, gas fired, cast iron heat exchanger. How long you think it takes to heat this thing up??? Unit weight 350 lbs. House is 1100 sq. ft. Replaced it with a 80K 90+. They don't make em' like that anymore. Something to be grateful for.

    Now they will ***** about cold blow out of that 90+. But they sure wont ***** about their gas bill.

    I'll bet that thing put out 30 ppm CO in the air stream just from the rust burning off the cast iron.
