    opps..sorry

Sorry guys I didnt realize that the site changed since the last time I had visited, that I could not get so technical. Anyhow I think I am going to just go with the dryers and a good pump down. It is a builders model bottom of the line... but the other hand why get rid of it yet.... it still works.. yea I could get a new one for x vs replacing the compresser for x.. but you know women rather put the cash towards making the house look pretty. There will be a day I can say... I told you so...I am interested in gettting registered in the pro section.. If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be great.. I have 17 years experience in commercial, industrial HVAC and refrigeration, so I should be able to help somewhere.

We'll look for you in the Pro Technical section once you get in.

As a general observation, that comp of yours might live a bit longer if its stress levels are kept low. Things we'd tell a homeowner we want to check... clean condenser coils, be sure the charge is right, electrical good, pH level in system, etc. etc.
    • Electricity makes refrigeration happen.
    • Refrigeration makes the HVAC psychrometric process happen.
    • HVAC pyschrometrics is what makes indoor human comfort happen...IF the ducts AND the building envelope cooperate.

A building is NOT beautiful unless it is also comfortable.
