Totally out of touch
For a president who is supposed to be a leader for "the people", President Obama sure doesn't seem to be in touch with the people. Aside from defending his Treasury Secretary for having no clue where masses of amounts of money were being scattered, he comes up with this little gem about the AIG bonus recipients;
Assuming that the president is using Iowa and Arkansas as examples of low wages, does this man really think that American workers are "settling" for a mere $75K a year? Has he just tossed out so much money to banks, insurance companies and manufacturers that he simply has no sense of the value of a dollar?Obama noted that corporate executives would better understand the public's outrage over bonuses if they ventured out of New York and spent time in Iowa or Arkansas. There, he said, people are thrilled to be making $75,000 a year with no bonuses.
The article is here; http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090322/.../obama_economy
Then there is this;
Of course we unwashed masses are not concerned about our political leaders abusing our tax dollars. Why would we mere citizens care how corrupt and inept our political leaders are. As long as we have "health care" and "schooling", we will be as happy as monkeys in a monkey tree.Still, Obama said ordinary Americans are more concerned about having a paycheck and being able to pay college or medical bills than they are about "the news of the day in Washington."
Gee, any guesses where this attitude is leading us?Government is a disease......masquerading as its own cureEcclesiastes 10:2 NIV

This is the kind of thing that you get when you put a community leader in charge of a nation.

He is not in charge, he is just a puppet for an agenda.

I would have to be really naive to believe 1) Obama does not know exactly what he is doing.2) Everyone involved in and out of this cover up knew exacly what was going on. 3) The responses were not planned months in advance. / Now, my opinion is that everything being done in this government is planned in order to lead the public to some specific point. I do not believe ANYTHING that I am told by the media or the government. What really bothers me is the conversations I hear based on data gathered from media and speeches drilled into the head of the public. As I said yesterday; It is so sad that public ignorance is the most common trait visible today.....

Ordinary Americans?
Is this similar to 'typical white people'?
Maybe he thinks politicians are extraordinary Americans? There really needs to be a smiley for disgust in this forum.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

I draw all my schematics in crayon now. If they cannot always be correct, they can at least be colorful.
