ReplyTrane does have one built in so no additional drier is needed nor should be put in.

I had a Trane XL15i heat pump system installed. The contractor did not install a line drier. He said that the heat pump has an internal drier and a second one on the line is not needed. Is this correct? Should a drier been installed on the line? Any problems with not installing the drier on the line? Thanks for your help.
