    Janitrol by Goodman was sold heavy for many years in my service area, yet I got almost no calls on them or Amana.

    I got a lot of calls on the popular Brand names.

    Janitrol GMP= worst furnace in a loooong time

    yea..those GMPs don't pop the rings on the HXers.

    that design was so good they don't make it anymore.

    Fair enough, I'll give you that one. Wanna bet there was something else wrong , besides the brand name. Bad duct jobs have killed lots of units, both heating & cooling.

    Speaking of design, what about those Carrier Millenium compressors it's all a growing process for all the manufactures, and during this growth process you will turn out good and bad equipment and designs.

    Well let me start we have replaced about 150 inducer motors because they were getting clogged all the time. Goodman even knew about the problem also reversing valves on there heat pumps are now starting to show up and thats not just us other companies are having problems here to.
    Not sayin we have had a couple of carrier txvs go bad. But carrier let us know before it happened and what to look for.
    But come on guys milleinum compressors have been gone for a while give it up there not even using them anymore.
