It will probably be a few weeks before the entire job is done. Have to give the vanity a little TLC before it goes back in. Trying to avoid buying a new one if I can.

I'll be sure to put them in the wall of shame where they belong.

I used vinyl flooring because this is a budget job. That stuff goes in quick and easy. Longevity will be determined, well, later. Have to replace the cove base tiles and every G%&^$*N one of them needs to be cut.

Oh, well. Lunch is almost over and the foreman will be yelling at me to get back to work, soon.

If you have vinyl down heck use wood base board if you don't have a wet saw.

Ah... the San Francisco after hitting that underwater mountain. If you look at that picture close enough you will see that the crew was very fortunate to survive that one. That blue tarp covers up the sonar dome... the fiberglass fairing around the sonar sphere. That is a free flood area. The torpedo tubes and the sonar shere extend into the dome. The sphere is attached with like a 5 or 6 ft tube back to the forward compartment. They got lucky water tight integrity was not breached. The door at the end of the tunnel is not a true water tight door. The o2 banks and Main Ballast Tank HP air flasks are in there as well. They were damn lucky.

Obviously as can be seen.... it only takes one guy to sink a sub. My sub.... well we almost bit the big one once. Thanks to a Chief of the watch not doing his job right. We went backwards to more than 80 percent of test depth without main propulsion...... yeah... we were a bit nervous.

Bret, good to see that you felt well enough to go to the gym. Just have to keep yourself from over doing it, as it appears that you found out

Goin alright. Got up this am and went for my daily 2 mile walk and raked up the leaves in the front yard. It is really a mild day here, about 53 degrees and cloudy. Have to make the best of this weather as it wont be long before those nasty winter days are the norm. Getting ready to head to in-laws for dinner, then to Sears. Craftsman 1/4 and 3/8 socket sets on sale for $10 each. I currently have a combo socket set with 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 in one set. I prefer the individual sets. Anytime you can pick up tools life is good.
