    dammit bob

    this fan
    it is turning CCW
    is it pullin out
    or
    pushin in??

    this job is done.
but this is how the cooling fans were when i took it apart

when trane sent it back that fan was on the other side
it is liquid cooled and the fan should pull from the inside
i believe the original fan was on the wrong side, or ofcourse they both were??

this side turns CCW but i think that is a CW blade

    this spins CCW
would it be pulling air out or pushing air in?
    or neither
    A.out
    B.in
    C.none of the above

    please explain your answer

If you mean CCW from the shaft end, it will pull air toward the armature (answer B) for two reasons:

    1) The bite of the vanes acts like airplane propellers on a twin with counter-rotating props (that would be the engine on the left wing)
    and

    2) the shape of the vanes is an airfoil that would be inappropriate to operate in the opposite direction.

    Okay.

You are saying that the fan is now mounted on the other end?

If that is the case, you would have to have the fan facing the same direction, meaning the edge of the hub of the fan that is now closest to the armature would be farthest from the armature when mounted on the other end.

    Do I understand you correctly?
