Yeah. Right at the mouth of the Detroit river where it enters Lake Erie. Happens this way every year. Ive seen some strong winds coming out of the north actually blow enough water into the lake that the water levels actually dropped a good 4 feet. Sailboats were sitting on thier keels! Fun stuff.

Anytime Dallas might get stomped, Philly will be watching!

Hey.
I managed to get the wife to run a chainsaw over the past couple of days.
We have been seriously busting azz.
This is really a 2-4 year long project that we have tackled.
First comes cutting and clearing.
Then the stumps all get ground and the wood chips and mulch get cleared.
Then, we will need to bring in topsoil to fill in where the roots used to be.
THEN, and only then, will we have a yard again.
I look at the bright side. I don't have to mow very often, and all the neighbors are so happy to see the trees going away that they don't bi*ch too much about the mountains of fly ash and HUGE clouds of white smoke that blanket the neighborhood for hours, nor do they bi*ch when I fire up the saw at 8:30 on a Saturday morning.
Not that I'd give a rusty $hit what they thought, but.....

Nah... only had 4 hrs saturday..... but one call came in as I was getting home at 3:30.... Rental company had to wait to see if they had a dog.. (they thought they might) but by the time they got a hold of them and called me back it was 5:45 so they said this AM would be ok.....
Today.... got 6 hrs in and I bet 3 hrs was from driving. Went 45 min across to the mainland... then took 81 min to drive north on the beach to 4x4 country. and then another call at the north end of the paved road. So 22 hrs with friday being the only real workday.... so next weeks paycheck will look good!
This upcoming paycheck will be 38.5 hrs and I missed Friday for Boone! coulda had 46 hrs!Silent Service........ Death From Below!
Somewhere in Kansas, a town found a village idiot!
