    On crackberry, now, but they are using a chiller to run glycol loops at 20 degrees and cool refrigerated cases with it.

    There is at least one thread in refrigeration forums about it. Hill/Phoenix is a big mover in markets with this stuff.

    We have a few Drycool units that have boilers that do what you are describing, too, but they are slowly going away in favor of the Munters direct fired units.

    we use 20 degree chillers alot in process cooling!!!!!

    process chillers!!

    at colgate we had several YORK20 chillers!

    if there is a large demand for chiller guys in referi might consider doing that!

    The closest I've been to a chiller is a small glycol case or two.

    The are piped to the rack, run a LLSV and an EPR to maintain temp. The fancy ones have an EXV.

    For now, there are many times more conventional racks than chillers in the market world.
