I just had a so called mole removed, turned out it was melanoma.

Sorry to hear that Dice. My other grandfather on my mothers side not the one just recently diagnosed with cancer has had the same thing. He had it 20 years ago and once it was cut out he didn't have any problems untill just recently, he has to go back this month and have another cut out that is cancerous. I hope all goes well for you.

Hey, all.
Looks like I missed a LOT, as usual when you take a few days off.
First off, here's hoping that Bret, Bob, Diceman and all other patients and survivors are doing well.
Frank must be hoarding all of that HOT weather down Kansas way just like he is hoarding all of the bewbie pictures.
Happy belated Birthday to Karen.
Camp was great, as always.

FCS, I am sorry to hear of your afflication. My father had a melanoma removed about 2 yrs. ago and has to go back to be checked every so often. My mother had breat cancer two yrs. ago and had to have surgery. She has gone through all the treatments and seems to be getting better. Dr. gives her the green light anyway. You are right, it sucks.
Hang in there and keep a positive outlook. I know everybody tells you this but it can't hurt.
Johns Hopkins recently sent out some ionformation to a friend of mine about what all you could do to aid in treatment and preventitive measures.
I don't know if they might have it posted on their web site or not.
Just a thought.
I wish you all the luck.
Dan.

That truly sucks!!! I wish I had some pearl of wisdom to give you, but sadly I don't. Cant imagine how difficult it is being kept in the dark about the situation. It is hard enough to deal with when things are out in the open and you can discuss with your family members your feelings etc., but to be shut out..... wow, thats tough!! Hang in there JP and I hope that things change for you,
Dennis
