Just had my old neighbour drop off a party invitation this afternoon at the home/office....
His wife has been battling cancer for 4 years......she's losing and leaving behind a firecracker 4 year old boy, 13 yr old daughter (that just bow shot here first deer last year) and a logger husband that is devastated. I ---ing hate this disease.....I can think of 10-20 people other than Shauna that 'deserve' this either than her. I'll be there on Saturday to 'celebrate' her life whilst she's still able to laugh and cry with us.....
Sorry for the rant and whining.....safe place to do it I guess....

It could always be worse. My aunts father-in-law got cancer on his face and opted out of surgery because he didn't want people to remember him with no nose and all the rest of the damage.

I assume penis cancer would be one that would be really tough to agree to surgery also. Glad you didn't have to make any of those kinda decisions, and made it through ok.... tired and worn out, but ok.

Doug, I am always relying on the ecouragement that a new day is coming.

    Revelation 21:1-4:

    1. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

    2. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

    3. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

    4. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
