A Cdn Reefer TQ is about 1.5 to 2 X as hard as the NATE exam if they allow you to 'challenge' it..

NATE is minimum industry knowlege, RSES is supposed to show mastery and experience. I'm guessing Canada doesn't want hacks so has higher minimum standards. Here in Denver, the VAST majority of residential "contractors" have no liscense or testing of any kind. When I show up at a customers house that has been a victom of a hack job, I can tell and ask them in about 10 seconds if it was permitted and inspected. The answer is always no for one reason or another. Oh well, even if we had higher minimum standards here, the hacks still wouldn't take those tests either.
