    I hated those days....

Now, I'm in a position where I'm always "on call" in that I always answer the phone but I don't always have to GO.

Of course, I typically act as the 24/7 backup guy.

We have a 3ph pump and we just knew we needed to get a drive for back up..but ordering one today for overnight shipment. Well we put in window units Fri night but last night we just by-passed the pump and used the water garden pump with hoses to get water to the unit ...cooling now till the drive gets here..I'm ready for fall weather ...lol

Throw a cycle stop valve on it in the interim with a 20-70 pressure switch..... http://www.cyclestopvalves.com

I did it for about 10 years. Maybe a little less.

Combining 24/7 on-call with the crazy amount of calls we were getting at the time, it was enough to burn you out.

60 hour weeks were light weeks.

    Hated it.

About 4-5 years ago, they handed me the reins for my own area, and I started to look for ways to reduce the amount of calls. Most logical method was to just FIX IT. Every call, every time. FIX IT.

That became my mantra. Fix It. OM. Like a Hindu guru, I repeated my mantra many, many times daily.

End result, now my guys are b***hing at me because they aren't getting ENOUGH hours...
