I explained to the manager that I grew up on a farm with an old grist mill, and at 10, I learned to climb around in all of the old machinery areas without breaking my neck. It was good training for this job!!!

    Good morning, Bret and everyone!

Moon, my "ninja" activities on Friday gave me some awareness of muscles I haven't used in a while, but I'll be working a full slate today.

A way to save time/$$$ on ladders, but might be a little difficult while hauling a compressor

I want to know how long it took to condition his hands. It took me a whole summer working as a bricklayer's laborer.

Considering the required skillsets, I'd say it is more like "stunt running."

I use to dream about doing that kind of stuff many decades ago, but then I woke up and realized that I was already too old and stiff to try that. When I was in my early teens some of my friends and I thought and acted as if we were super heroes, capes and all, and tried/did some of that stuff but that was a loooong time ago.
