    Finding out some stuff about nephew.

    Haven't talked to him face-to-face, yet, but that will come.

    I think that he wants to talk and to be closer to me. At this point, I'm the only adult, male role-model that he's GOT!

    His dad's a loser that hasn't been around, except to beat him as a young child, his mom's gone, my dad is gone... I have no brothers..

    He's starting to realize some of the things that I did about 8-10 years ago. That being coddled like he has been isn't the best thing for him and that he needs a little truth and honesty in his life. He'll get that from me, for sure. I'm not one to pull punches.

    Matthew, my cub scout with leukemia, had his fourth chemo treatment yesterday.

    His "numbers are up" whatever that means. Blood counts? Enzymes? I'm not a doctor, but if they're happy, I'm thrilled for the kid.
