    'Morning Bret and everyone.. Hoping to get RSES refrigeration course (one module left), WHMIS and TDG out of the way today, so I can pound the pavement again next week. The first 2 are a given, TDG is up in the air.

    Hi guy sorry I missed yesterday had a lot going
    went out early Am got a GREAT deal on a Variable speed Wood lathe 15 and can turn head stock 180* and do 20" 38" on center 2 HP came with a 4" Face plate, Live center Spur and a head stock spur 15 tools 2 of which were "Sorby" ( the Digi Cool of Lathe tools) and 12 wood carving tools. Thing is in Incredible shape looks new. Every thing in the guys shop was kept in unbelievable shape . it was SO good of deal I'm a bit worried.

    I can sell the Lathe I have and for more then I bought this one for.

    Took 25 mins to drive out to get it and 1 1/2 to drive back. We keep pull over to tighten the straps and drove about 5 MPH on the back roads and 45 mph on the highway

    then we went out to visit a friend who was just diagnosed stage 4 cancer.
    then Went to a Wood working show and inter in the you compensation and h got 3 for 1 entry and Honorably Mention for another. Only had 4 other entries in his division . But still, I was proud he step to the Challenge.


    By the time I got home I was toast.

    Spending a good part of the day doing the tool thing.

    Yesterday I asked (by the friend who was just diagnosed stage 4 ) How did I ever get through the last 4 years The cancer the MG the understand that most likely I will reoccur. I told him about this thread and about the GREAT group of guys who are a hug part of finding the strength.
