I've had 4 knee surgeries in this trade in 36 years.....all as a result of us working in crawlspaces/attics and the like. My right knee is bone on bone and IF I don't bike the pain is unbearable....when I bike the body sees the motion and produces more synovial fluid to lubricate.....it's about like 90w gear lube...
    The trade shows KILL it.......
The last scope they showed me the raw spikey bone meeting bone and says "your $%%^ed......need a new knee next time....therefore I ride"....

The doc lets one eye heal up, then he does the other.

It's like one to three weeks in between procedures. He was able to drive the next day!!!

    I'm thinking of lasik myself...

played with the wood lathe a some today the dust Collector makes it much better.

planing on piping in 6 ports all with blast gate, 3 both outside walls and 1 port up near the ceiling about (8' off Floor) center of garage and and create a hood to help pick up air born saw dust.

Tried starting on it a few time this week but legs and arms keep give out and keep falling off the ladder. So for now I'm using flex hoses run from the machines 2 ports.

I'll have to post some pictures Andy's pretty good with the band saw. I think if he puts more time in on the lathe he'll be good on that as well.

It; a great feeling being out in the garage with him. My Dad and I spent tons of hours working together in I hope to be 1/2 father he was.
