Long day today.... 44.5 hrs with one day to go!!! Nice!
Got a Am Std AAM7 working that was giving the installers a fit... then myself and another service tech a fit. no power to tstat..... A/H was powered up and test worked.... but no 24v to stat. Pulled new tsat wire and still nothing. I finally found that the pins on the board werent making good connection to the black terminal block that slides onto the pins. Shoved some tstat wire into the connections and viola! *happy dance* what pain in the buttocks that was.... just glad it was me fixing it than the other guy. (he gave up on it)
When did "giving up" become an option????

Ah, to heck with it. Guys giving up makes me money. I don't quit.

It's quieting time, I'm tired, I've got a date or Friday and I"m partying tonight just give up. Or leave it we're not coming back tomorrow.

more then once I've gone off the clock because the Job could afford it than work till it was fixed, sometime 24 hours no break.

what kills me it guys who want to work 7:00 till 3:30 take long lunches and breaks milk job THEN b!tch about the boss not give them any raise or paying training.

while I tend to like the new *AM7 airhandlers... I think they still have a lot of reworking to get them right. Blower door and switches.... sealing of all doors, l/v terminal board connections.... and since when is every install going to allow you to place the drain 3 inches out from the cabinet? Many times you only have 1 inch between the cabinet and the door to the closet!!!
