Been looking. Everyones slow here right now or they want hot case experience. On the bright side I went into the office to turn in my company stuff and was told I'm due back in January since a lot of apprentices are going off to school then. As well I was greeted with another surprise- ministry came through and bumped me to an official second year. They also signed me up and said "the reports from your supervisors have been generally good." So I guess starting next year I actually start piping and all that fun stuff.

    Doug.

I've seen a lot of guys coming back from Fort Mac and they all seem to have bad stories to tell. It wouldn't be a problem for me to go out there except Im living common law with my girlfriend, and my family here kind of needs me where I am right now. She does have family out in the mainland of BC and I heard from a guy I was working with that they're hurting for market guys out there. Was wondering if you knew if there was any truth to this?
    Ray,
Sent you a PM with my phone numbers.....I am available Fri and Sat night....tonight I have a conference call...

    My sympathies......
    I had two.....still got one.
The Durango lasted for about 8 years/300,000kms....hard on fuel with that 70 year old technology 318 and the Ram 1500 dumped a tranny at 70,000kms and 5.00000001 years so the warranty was void....

I've NEVER seen a Dodge without at least 2 sets of vicegrips on the dash knobs!!!

First service van I had was a 73 Dodge 360 with the INFAMOUS automatic choke......man you got good at double footing that gas pedal OR you had to lift off the doghouse and hold the choke open...and burn the pi$$ out of you face and hands when it backfired at least once to clear the flooded engine...
There was NO WAY you could operate the heat knobs on that thing without a set of vicegrips and another couple pairs on the window cranks that'd fall off of a Dodge....
    REFINED they ain't.....

Been a crazy couple of days. On Thursday, I got a 4:30AM call out to solve an emergency with some "new-used" cases we relocated. Got the proper valves installed in them and they ran like a champ. Ran a couple other calls, then ran 2 cub scout meetings and dropped.

Back up at 4AM. On the roof at 5:30AM starting another one. No major hitches this time. Went off like clockwork.

Beat up out local distributor about the Digi-Cools, but I think he's going to play Company Man this time. I'm going to print off some of those fancy, shiny ad sheets and see if he'll put 'em on the counter at least.

Good talking to you Doug, even if it was only for a couple of minutes.
