Thant reminds me of a trip to Vermont a few years ago in a Seneca I. It's a little twin that Piper made a long time ago.

Julie was selling medical equipment then, and had some sales calls to make. We covered a lot of ground in a short time with that airplane.

Anyway, we had a schedule to keep. We were to leave Vermont at a certain time, and fly to Morristown, NJ.

So, we go to the airport and I walk over to the airplane, and it is COVERED in a deep layer of frost. Now, you can't fly the airplane that way. Someone else had the hand sprayer of deicing fluid.

So, I had to borrow some rags and RUB the frost off the airplane like the Karate Kid, you know, "wax on, wax off." Man that was tiring.

But, I got the thing in the air on time and got Julie to her appointment in Morristown!

Hey grups.

Been looking. Everyones slow here right now or they want hot case experience. On the bright side I went into the office to turn in my company stuff and was told I'm due back in January since a lot of apprentices are going off to school then. As well I was greeted with another surprise- ministry came through and bumped me to an official second year. They also signed me up and said "the reports from your supervisors have been generally good." So I guess starting next year I actually start piping and all that fun stuff.

I've seen a lot of guys coming back from Fort Mac and they all seem to have bad stories to tell. It wouldn't be a problem for me to go out there except Im living common law with my girlfriend, and my family here kind of needs me where I am right now. She does have family out in the mainland of BC and I heard from a guy I was working with that they're hurting for market guys out there. Was wondering if you knew if there was any truth to this?
