Julie will be starting another type of treatment that causes a lot of looseness, so she will be close to the little room the whole time. She had a stent placed to keep that area open as the tumor wants to close it. She is mostly in good spirits, and has good docs. I'll keep you updated.
Thanks tell her We're thinking of her

    He Bret, How's it.....
You and Andy getting into 'guy $hit' today?

Paperwork for me....going back to my homestead family farm in Saskatchewan on Tuesday to deal with the Potash company and also to meet with my Dad's old cousin that is the keeper of all the history......it's gonna be very emotional and if any of you have ever seen a prairies sunset.....combine that with rubbing the wounds of missing my Dad and you've got a whimp for 4 days.
4 years ago you could buy a 3 bedroom 4 year old house in Sask. for $5000.....now with the potash and Oil Sands discovery......4 year wait to get a house built for a king's ransom.....

That's the company......our land was a 'homestead' land from the 1700s and as such came with the mineral rights. The government of Saskatchewan did a backroom deal with the oil/potash companies to hand over the previous oil leases/first opportunities to the potash and at the same time 'remove' the individual's mineral rights.........somebody's gonna get a stick poked in their eye if they think they're doing that to us.....
The first two winters that Andy (apparently a spittin image of me in every way) Lockhart spent in southern Saskatchewan, he spent in a tent !!!! Yes, -50 degF and in a canvas %##&ing tent !!!!
So, you and Simon already into the junk food...???

Damn. And I thought I was tough.

Coldest I've ever done tent camping in was -20F and that was only for a couple days.

Can't imagine two winters of that.

    I wouldn't consider it "tainting"

The USA could use a dose of Doug Lockhart.
