I didn't get much done today but I finished up my errands around 1900. On my way home I got a call from another contractor working on an RTU in Boulder.

"Hey Jason can you help me? We got this roof top, really old it sparks and the pilot lights then goes out. We replaced the igniton module and still can't get it to work."

    ME:
"Did you clean the flame sensor and check your grounds."

    HIM:
"There's no flame sensor, it's really old just the pilot and sparker."

    ME:
"Ok clean the sparker and make sure all the wires are hooked up good, espically the green one."

    HIM:
"OK I try that I call you back."

Two minutes later he calls me back thanking me the unit is running good and they spent two hours on it bought a new module and still couldn't get it to work. Maybe you would have some time to look at Ice Machine for me tomorrow need to make it from three phase to two phase......ROLMAO.

I really get a good laugh dealing with some of these handyman contractors around here. With guys like this working on stuff it's really easy for me to gain a customers respect. I don't mind doing a little tech support over the phone because 80% of the time I need to go to the jobsite anyway, and those are billable hours.

    OK get this

We go to UNC Hosp for the MRI 1st Registration who I talk to on the phone and spelled my my 3 times and the guy confirmed it was corrected has my NAME Spell wrong in the computer "BRENT"

When I get to the MRI dept the 1st thing I say to the lady out front
" this MUST be a 3 Tesla Machine or it not worth doing I've Just had one in a 1.75 telsa the only reason I'm here is to have it done with the 3 Tesla MRI"

She say yes sir it is all in your orders.

SO we wait about 1/2 hour they call me back put in a hep lock for the contrast and I head to the Tube I again mention it MUST be a 3 Tesla MRI the tech says

NO its a 1.5 telsa the 3 Tesla unit is broken, it broke yesterday morning and they're waiting on a part, should be in tomorrow, but the 1.5 unit will be fine.

so I show him a copy of my copy of the orders and again state I just had a Brain MRI 2 weeks ago in a 1.75 Machine, It has to be a 3 Tesla Machine. The supervisor comes out looks at their orders and mumbles some thing about the morons in Registrations.

And so I get rescheduled Again this time at Late Thursday evening.

this will be the 3rd try.

And on top of it all I have seizure a while after I got home.

Good luck today Bret maybe they will get their ducks in a row. My doctor in Kansas wants another MRI on my back, now my insurance is up it's going to cost me $4,000. I'm getting by on my meds so far as long as it don't get worse.

    Bret...

It is so proactive for you to stay on top of this and insist they get it correct.
I got two units of Packed Cells yesterday and I cross check the units with the nurses before I let them hook me up. One cannot be too careful. Now today I have tons of energy. Yeah!!

I am sorry you had a seizure once you got home. They are no fun. Kepra is fairly new and we used some of it at my last job. Hope your results are positive from the Kepra.

I wish you well on Thursday with the MRI. Thanks for keeping us posted.
