I know that there are many definitions of what constitutes a religious person.
When I was growing up, it seemed pretty plain to me that a lot of what constituted religious activity was repetitive prayers, hand gestures, and various acts that somehow imparted a positive nature to the person.... but what I discovered later in life is that it is only a belief in the Saving Grace that God has provided us that promises and delivers eternal life..... and faith has nothing to do with whether or not you can handle an object or make a hand gesture or say a specific set of prayers to achieve forgiveness. Instead, it is a free gift that needs only to be gratefully received.
