I can not make up my mind!

should I watch hockey or figure skating?
or are they the same thing?
    Let's see.

Attractive young girls in short skirts with long legs?

    Yeah, I'd say figure skating.

    Dug,
    like I said!
    It looks pretty fun!
But I am not so much into the soft commercialized stuff!
I like steep single tracks and never really cared much for the stuff the public rolls down!
That does look fun, I would like it!
But I am sure there is way better stuff there! In that mountain range!
At least what they show on youtube is not very technical.
Remember I am a trials rider.
I am sure you find it very thrilling.
    Frank

I was going down Garbonzo 2 years ago with the seat ALL THE WAY DOWN and the back tire up my a$$ when I rolled the bike over endo....yes I did....and rammed my shinguard into a tree and split it....that would have been a broken bone. YOu couldn't stand on the trails...you had to 'roll em'....know what I mean....

    NOW YOU HAVE MY ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

where is that, and did you go???????????????????

by the way I have crashed at 78 MPH!
wearing those pink lycra shorts you speak of and a foam hat!
Broke my collar bone 3 times, both wrists together twice!
tail bone more than I can count!
I have pedal scars all up and down my shins from trials and BMX!
I still have some gravel in my back! it itches every now and then!

I have friends that have been down the whistler, those same friends told me to go to silverton colorado!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
did not much care for it! Most of that stuff is pretty easy for me since I first started trials riding in 1983 and had a pro sponsor by 1986! I am a very technical rider.
I will say I do not care so much for all the jumps!!!!!!!!!
I would rather scale down a slab of granite!
I am also not really into the "skinnies" I do like small single tracks when they are natural! Used to love to make our own trails and try not to hit too many cows and wildlife on the way down!
Keep in mind! I live in KANSAS!!!!!!!!!!!
the tallest thing in Kansas is a grain elevator!
When I lived in Cal I would do a 6000 ft climb and race back down EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! We have a fake ski resort in Weston Missouri a couple miles away! FAKE SNOW! FAKE HILLS!
may be no mountains but the cost of living is low and wages are high and the schools as crappy as our school system is , are pretty good!

I hope to get back to the mountains before i retire! HOPE?

    Frank
