    Hey Buddy.....
Not to add to your pain but make sure you sit down and recognize what you've lost Jeremy..... It's early now buddy but I went over to Mom and Dad's (Mom passed away first) and believe it or not I shut off my phone and pager for 2 days, went through every cupboard, closet, drawer, cabinet and room in their house. I looked at every card, picture, album and medals of theirs. I laughed like a crazy man and I cried, God I cried, like a baby. I experienced ALL of them for the last time and I am so glad I did it. The photo albums of Dad in the RCnavy and Mom in the RCAF WACs that Dad sat my kids on his lap and explained the guns/ships/planes in the war were remembered so vividly I felt he was still in the house. Ray (my brother) came over a week later and we divided their belongings up and I was solid as a rock until we both hugged and decided to leave with our pickups loaded.......we forgot to take their sign down over the garage......damn but I cried so bad I couldn't run the drill....it was pathetic....it now sits in my garage on top of my Dad's humble tool box...
I'd sooner go back and do another bit in prison than lose my Dad again...it was the single most painful thing in my life and I'd do a deuce less for just one more day with Lloyd Lockhart.......God it hurts....
He taught me how to be a man, always tell the truth, to look after my family, that hard work will overcome 'bout anything and most of all 'first things first Doug, work before play..that's the Lockhart Way'. My family had never gone without, I have never not paid a bill and never had to 'explain a lie'...
I love that man dearly and would do anything to be with him again....

Jeremy, there will be times when we selfishly miss them badly but .... they do go to a better place...that I'm sure...

Fortunately, we have been given an opportunity to be together forever.
