I would love to go and take the risks involved of a challenging trail ride, but if I broke a leg, I'm not sure I would have an income. Being able to drive the truck and climb ladders is an absolute at this point.

Got out yesterday. Wife is taking it as good as can be expected. She got a bit of a shock when they asked her what my "life wishes" were regarded being resuscitated, and seeing me in the bed with all the tubes in me. I'll have even more tubes sticking out if I get the Whipple surgery, so it's good practice I suppose. Was able to get out and walk today without all the extreme pain, so I'm optimistic about being able to start taking some walks to get back in shape. I'm still optimistic about long-term surviving everything, despite all of the recent episodes and trips to the hospital's.

Weak as a kitten, but doing better. Taking way less pain med and got out and walked a fair bit today, so getting back in shape is well on the way.
