As far as my dad, they have him on morphine. In drops like you would give a baby.

It was an effort for him to open his eyes and a supreme effort to squeeze my hand.
It sounds like the trumpet is ready to sound. It is a call we will all hear.

My prayers for you and your father.

Yeah, we applied for the weekly sick benefits which amount to about $400 week.

Had a little saved that we went and cashed out today.

We have enough to get through until I get back to work.

I may have a small windfall of cash coming in from some other property that we own which would be an absolute LIFESAVER at this point in time.

    Yeah.

Leased gas and oil rights on 11.5 acres.

One time payout of $1500/acre plus 15% roylaties if they hit.

That's a nice little chunk of change.

They have 90 days to pay to fulfill their end of the contract.

I know that I need to heal, but I'm not real good at sitting around when I feel good and doing nothing.

I've got some easy projects around the house and maybe a little hunting to catch up on, so I'll try to take it easy for a few weeks.

I'd suggest that you do as much light exercise as you can, spend some time in prayer, and do some more learning or teaching. You could pick a topic and write an article for the educational section of the site, for example.

The one thing I found about teaching people to fly is that it is a learning experience for the instructor, as well.

Doing these things will help keep you busy, and time will move more quickly.

$hit that happens in our lives is the mortar that binds the good bricks together.....not sure why this $hit is happening JP but there's a reason for it.....which is easy as he!! for me to say.....
TB suggested the teaching/learning....bury yourself in it and if you have a elderly friend that needs some help/kind deeds done that won't bugger your recovery up.....help them out......and it'll heal your mind too..... fwiw....

Helping someone in need is always good, and Doug is right. This is a good opportunity to do that.
