I keep my hair very short for exactly that reason.

I would have torn it out in BIG clumps.

I rarely have to call in help. Usually a phone call is more than adequate. I had help on this one.

Well had an interview at the wholesaler. Went pretty good. Their big concern is that I will go back into the field when the opportunity arises. I told them that I have tried the field and it has its ups and downs as with everything. I decided that honesty is the best virtue and told him I am than willing to try the counter since they do some load calcs and over the phone troubleshooting. I would be able to see and learn...and more stuff than just Carrier at that. I might like it. Or it might not be for me.

Then just last night I got a phone call from a fellow member. He is a service manager in Ontario and is a regular on this forum. He works at a rather large company and does refrigeration. So now I've got about 10 forms to get but... hopefully with a little luck.

I'll be honest the labour situation sucks out here. I found out a couple days ago the top guy in the class only got hired a couple weeks ago. He hasnt worked since grad. I thought my one month was bad...he spent almost 4 on his butt! Theres already words floating around that the guys graduating this year might not be able to find anything out here. I know one class that about 3 years ago only 5 of almost 20 guys managed to find work out here.

So it looks like Im going to be looking into a van. Maybe ill get a used one off of Kijiji or see how much it is to rent one and head west.

it is kinda a long story

i went on and on for weeks thinkin the fans were incorrect

the MEATBALL company kept saying they were correct

the chief engineer meatball guy said put it together it is correct and i am the chief meatball do not question me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !


i searched meatball comfortsite for hours and days looking for info and finally found original shop drawings

the part number was correct tight end and loose end were correct

so chief meatball was correct

the only problem is that my fans were drawing out not in and it is not liquid cooled motor but vapor cooled from outside in

long story short

the meatball mold was incorrect and they have sent out hundreds of these in the last few decades

yes motor will run hot and burn up

it is not going well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i guess it is not cheap to make a new mold???

and NO you can not just turn them around or switch sides!!

will not fit!!!!!!!!!!!! or work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
