hope everyone is doing fine on this September day. We went to the ant pile and bought more meat to put away. We have more beef, chicken, pork & all the fish in the pond to catch when we want to eat. Plus all the veggies I've put away from the garden this year. I took one brisket and tenderizing it for over night to make beef bacon tomorrow in the smoker. Can't wait for our son to get out of the Army with his family so I can feed them well because I know they struggle with food bills to feed all 7 of them. Miss them dearly but just praying all goes well this year for them to return to the farm to help out and get out of the city life. Our son has dreamed of this for his children like he was truly raised. Stay safe out there !

Took the leap into electronics prototyping last night.

After the jalapeno jelly was made, we ran to the Shack and picked up the Arduino controller starter kit.

Took a bit of finangling to get it working, but I got that LED blinking... :LOL;

Seems to be a hitch with Windows 7 on my son's laptop, but I was time pressed, so I used mine with XP on it and it worked with less hassle.


He's got some PLANS..... Want to build robots to take over the world. Right now, we'll work on making lights blink.

Bought a BRAND new Lathe last week Got a GREAT deal . Didn't think I get this of year
VFD 2 HP 3 Phase ( 220 v inverter to 3 phase) great low end torque 50- 3200 RPMs
Thing weight 800 lb

Andy wanted to be the 1st to Use so I let him. Just getting to use it a few days ago getting it set up laid me out for several days then.
