'Afternoon Bret and everyone. Long day yesterday. Thanks for looking out for me, Doug!!! Moving half-way across the continent is a big decision to make, that I'll have to talk over with the Mrs as it also impacts her in a big way. I am very tempted though and will shoot you an e-mail to let you know either way as soon as we talk it over.
The money is insane there right now and I gotta say after 36 years packing gauges, a Fluke clip on and a drill either up a #@%^ing ladder or into a @!^$ing crawlspace......I'm leaning towards Calgary too. I can take a desk job, visit two of my daughters in the city and @$^& the communist govt coming into BC in a month. I'll be GD if I am going to turned into a slave again as an owner whilst they 'dish' out the money to the lazy, stupid, useless and complaining......In my Dad's day they used to let the lazy stupid ones die.....it was called natural selection and they didn't have Walmart then........hey, I think I connected something....
Art the NDP here would make Obamanomics look right wing/tea party buddy......their manifesto is to take EVERYONE's wealth at death that would/could/should be willed to their heirs and direct it all to the state......I'd love to see that happen......might cure these BC flakey fruits and nuts once and for all.....
Geeze MR.... you moved 1/2 way around the world once.....what's another 2400 miles...? When you start selling some of those guns for food......you'll be ready....
BTW...do you know what union rate is in Alberta........................................... .................................................. ..............................................it's called minimum wage.....

Older boy had merit badge classes this morning, so dad slept in till 6, let him sleep in till 6:45 and out the door by 7:30.
Architecture merit badge earned and home by 2:00 with a couple of stops along the way and some dad and son time in the car. Sometimes, it's easier to have THOSE talks with a captive audience....
Now, oil changed in ATV#2 (son's machine) and he did it himself and didn't spill ALL of it on the garage floor.
Got a couple of rounds of archery practice in.
Birthday dinner this evening for Boy#2 and he's picked a gas station sandwich shop for his birthday dinner..... Whatever. It's his decision.
First mushroom walk of the year tomorrow plus time to hang trail cameras.
So that I can see pictures of critters all year around.
Got 2 sets of SD cards and I'll swap them and batteries about once a month.
Keep tabs on movement patterns and suchlike, so that I can find the best stand sites.
I've only got 2 cameras right now, but I'd like to ultimately get 4-6 cameras going.
Plus, we've got Turkey season coming at the end of April and Bear season in November if I can get a line on where there are a few.
Man, can you imagine if they had those things when we were kids.....would have hung a dozen in girls change rooms at the school, swimmin' hole washrooms/change rooms, ....... beat the hell of out trying to see the girls through tiny knot holes.... ....
Whoops....did I say that out loud.....? Bad Dougy......
