HAHA I was watching I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry last night and in one part the guy cooked supper for his kids and said "Get back here and finish your hot dog salad!"

This was just some cheesy frozen pasta/vegetable thing the ex picked up and I had leftover hot dogs. I just remember Doug telling me the story of the SAIT special and thought this would bring back some memories. All in good fun of course!

Hey all. Got to do some tool shopping. Found a nice multi-screw driver with a 1/4 inch and 5/16ths driver attachment and a schrader core tool. Best part of it all? It was on clearance. Of course picked up some more Olfa blades, hacksaw blades, more wrenches (to make up for the stolen ones) and a carpentry pencil because you can never have too many.

BTW Doug does this look tasty to you? :P

I did order a very memorable steak while in Calgary.

Then, we had to fly to Toronto from Calgary.

With a huge tail wind from the jet stream, we actually made 600 knots of ground speed.

    That was cool.

It's a local favourite here Frankie. I rarely order the stuff. I feel a part of me die with every fork load. All that transfatty goodness. I don't like french fries period. Kinda shows I'm an outsider considering in the few towns north of here we have the following:

Hartland, NB-Humpty Dumpty Potato Chip Plant
Florenceville, NB-McCains French Fry Plant/French Fry Capital of the world
Grand Falls, NB-Another McCains plant/Potatoes NB head office

From Florenceville all the way up north to the Quebec border there is nothing but potato fields.

Mind you I do like a good baked or mashed potato. Especially baked with either some ceasar or ranch dressing or some cheese sauce and bacon bits

Brenda and I were there.....with bells on.....

Sunshine....that's WAY more food than I ever had to eat......but it's nostalgic.. ....

Toto.....as far as Poutine......they got their a$$es kicked 100+ years ago and they are still whining about who should be running the country.....they blackmail us with 'they're leaving confederation' if we don't pay for "fill in the blank".....just like the Catholic religion that dominates them.... (this should get some good feedback/banning for slamming the Dogans) We tolerate them (barely) and they are trying to kill us with total heart blockage with this $hit.....
Sunshine is in New Brunswick which is another dense populated french Canadian area of Canada....so he's probably got something to say but out here in the west, they are an amusement to us and really, the spoiled brat in the family that someday will get kicked out or leave.....doubtfully that they will pull their selfish heads out of their own a$$es and smarten up....JMHO....

No one else in the country calls themselves hyphenated Canadians.....FYI I am Canadian....not Scotch Canadian...Ryan is Canadian....not Russian Canadian....Brenda is Canadian...not Italian Canadian.....they are the only group that has to be outed by their heritage......insecurity I guess....

LOL you're welcome for the Nostalgia.

I'm not the slightest bit French or Acadian. Acadians and Quebecers are really two different types of french. NB is more Acadie than anything. The Acadians say pattat and the Quebecers say pomme de terre. Frenglish aside they are a proud people, generally from large families, pretty good hearted I find. They all generally own at least one Acadian flag and have 2 coffee mugs and a bumper sticker with the flag on it. The Acadie girls tend to love English guys, but piss em' off and you better pray you can run faster than their dads 4 wheeler LMAO! They are seriously psychotic if you piss them off. I even say hell have no fury like a french woman's scorn. Joke is us english guys call them war brides lol.

Quebecers on the other hand...bleh...I've been through Montreal once. You try telling some of them you can't speak French and they reply in French. I end up saying just get out of my way. They feel like they've been handed the short end of the stick their whole time here. They've wanted to separate ever since I can remember. Funny thing is if they ever do how long do they think they will be an independent nation? Will Canada willingly give up defense equipment to them? Russia would see Quebec as a great staging ground against North America. As well a great way to claim the arctic. Or any other nation for that matter. Whats to say after one day of separatism China or North Korea wouldn't invade? And who would help? Canada and the US? If they wanted out so bad I wouldn't lift a finger till they were knee deep in the potato fields.

Too bad for whoever invades us NB would be pretty hard to take. Too many rednecks with mud trucks and shotguns. I'm sure even the army would say "damn lets just not get in their way and head to Timmies eh?"
