Frank is confusing "half mast" with "half dressed."

    Update from bubz

    Sorry bout that.
I have missed talking to the gang too!
Got sent home Monday for a "few" days to straighten out my family life. 1 week ago Monday I ran home to take care of my wife. 2:30 pm dispatcher called and said take the rest of the day off. As I headed in on Tues I was told to take the day off. This past Monday service manager jumped my ass and asked if I knew why he sent me home tues. I said I guess for monday. He said right and told me to unload my tools and take a few days off, but I wasnt fired. Well I called wed about 5 and thursday night about 7 and he didnt answer or return my calls. Called in this morning and he said come talk to him when I pick up my paycheck. Supposedly according to senior tech I still have my job. But we shall see.
Excerpt from a message conversation I had with Warren today.

    Hey all.

Miss a week miss a lot.

Nothing new with me. Been working. Got my first refrigerant bite lol. Felt weird. I couldn't stop poking it. Damn Lennox unit with the service valves sitting in a messed up position.

So far I've been doing residential installs and service (read usual tune up/maintenance, clogged drains, and stuck schrader cores causing low pressures). Our company has 2 commercial accounts and one refrigeration account (aka 2 door Garland low temp reach in at an old folks home we do the A/C for -learned first hand how much fun changing door seals is lol). It's fun. I make sure to lug the tools and jugs and try my best to stay one step ahead. As in let's say were putting in a ductless split and were putting the flares on for the outside unit and all the slim duct has been cut and the pipes have been armaflexed. I go and get the nitrogen and vacuum pump/micron gauge and set it all up.

My journeyman is great too. He takes care of the paper work and the phone calls and all that stuff while I drive. It can be hard work at times. My arms have been sore the past two weeks in a row. But I saw my best friend for the first time in two weeks and one of the first things he said was "it looks like you've dropped at least 10 pounds since you started there." Best thing is we have ventilation guys too and if they're stretched-I go with them. I've learned first hand how fun duct sealant is. The beauty of it all is I'm learning air conditioning and sheet metal at the same time. Of course I'm only working in the one trade but I now understand velocity and static pressure way better and how bad duct work can cause just as many problems as a plugged filter.

Okay. I'm sure my enthusiasm is making you guys sick. If it makes you feel any better I've been sent to look for the sky hook, the glass nails, had a coffee cup duct taped to the antenna of my car, had said antenna unscrewed and hid in a file cabinet, and my journey whistled out of my window at a passing lady that I was making sure was safely off to the side of the road. I am lucky though. I'm not called princess. I'm called sunshine LOL!
