Doug, all I ask is that you 1) get patent insurance, and 2) make the thing better than the infamous Service Assistant.
I expected to get clobbered from Asia....but not from the USA....the cradle of free enterprise and modern day business.
This 'Application for Patent Re-examination and have the patent then declared invalid' seems is the new thing to be able to buy time/room/violate/infringe or whatever.....IMHO...
A patent defense starts at $1.5M !!!!!!!!!!!! Yah all got any spare change laying around? I can't even get mechanics to buy the $300,000 stock I have...how the heck would I surmount a challenge...???

Art, there's a far greater judge in all this.....it shall be done....Karma, God, Buddah, whatever your flavour.....you get back what you dish out in life....in double portions...

The idea of insurance is to cover things like a defense, should it be needed.

    dug,
    thanks again for my digicool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the utility companies do use some unit around here they blue tooth all the info, such as sh sc delta t amp draw etc and have some sort of incentive for the end user, customer.

should i send the unit back to you for loading r11 and 123???????????????

i would like to invent a gismo that you would put on a VFD, that would match the
compressor load to the air flow load????????????

in other words on a dx vav system

when the drive is at 50% so would be the number of stages of cooling...

i see too often low building load, drive at 40% but 100% stages of cooling causing liquid flood back!!!!!

they are always just looking for 55 degree air and do not care about anything else,,,

also would be cool to invent a low pressure switch/ bypass timer, all in one

just a slap on lp w bypass timer.... screw it on and bammm!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sounds cheap if the profit potential is higher, and you are protected from a lawsuit that is intended to put you out of business. That's why they have these policies....

Frank, you should get me out there to sit down with your boss, and do a ride along for a few days. Sounds like you could use someone like me...

Got off a week on call. Only ran about 50 hours when I had to take time off to come home and take care of wifey.

    She's doing pretty well, btw.

Spent almost all weekend cutting wood for a project for the kids at Cub Scout Day camp. Probably spent 8-10 hours this weekend hunched over a saw in 90 degree weather. Lots of sweat, but fortunately, no blood or tears...

Gotta get back to work so I can rest a little....

Doug, I'm beating people up out here over the DRSA. There is no reason for anyone to use analog gauges anymore. From apprentice to old hand, we all benefit from them.
