The news is I had enough 2 week ago and turn in notice.

given 2 hr work told to milk it for 8. Told to give B.S instead of trying to fix it, Told to document stuff as done when it wasn't and told time and time again to "keep the bar low so the don't expect much".

So I'm done as of today

    Lazy useless. NO work ethic.

So Karen and I talked and I gave notice.

Never work in a place were they flat out openly tell you to falseify Documenation and flat out tell you to "milk work" and Demand that "you keep the bar low"

I have a something that might work out.

    HONESTY always pays....
Bret, you are a very admirable person in many ways buddy. Karen is a lucky lady and Andy, as I have said before, could not have a better example....
    You have my respect Bret....

That's crazy. My electrical instructor used to own his own business. And told me he built it around the premise of having a good reputation. His business never laid off during the last recession (80's) and had all of it's technicians working 40+ hours a week. It just goes to show what doing it right will do. Those guys...well...once all their customers catch on they'll all need new jobs anyways. It's a good idea to leave a sinking ship.

Reminds me of a Commercial Equipment Company I worked for. They kept a score board for how much each technician sold.
Myself and two others were laid off, not because we were lousy mechanics, rather lousy salesmen.

Adversity builds character.....this recession SHOULD have woken us all up to get back to what built this continent....innovation, ingenuity, strong work ethic and honesty.....I guess we didn't learn very much huh!! I am still seeing too little of the 'built' attitude and too much of the 'entitlement' attitude....
But as long as we tolerate CEOs taking $10M bonuses for losing $1.5B we'll have everyone else follow to suit...
