    48 year old today.

Was told a few days ago "your getting old, you feeling it yet"

I and said "yup it feels good we thought the count might stop at 44 or at best 45.

    3 1/2 years and 4 days

Funny my birthday now doesn't seem as big of deal now. July 16th (diagnoses date) seem for now to be more of a celebration day. counting and celebrating the day was given a awfully cruise and also a great gift the gift: to appreciated my life and what I have.

For my Birthday I would like all of every one,

1st think about what SUCKS in your life take time and ponder it find a way to except it think of a way to deal with it . Then think about thing and people and things that make your life meaningful.

THEN think ponderer the the thought its not how many winning or loosing hands you get dealt it's enjoying (or learning enjoy) play the game.

Brett, I thought my life was over at 48 when I had my first heart attack. You have had to fight to even get to 48. I was very wrong about my life, and I pray that yours will continue to inspire others who may not realize that things could always be worse.

Compared to you, "I'm" a young guy. I would think that the last few biological years have aged Brett pretty well past both of us.

Ha, that's true. I'm sure a serious health issue can age anyone. Better to be aged by it though, right?

Did I tell you I've lost almost 50 lbs in the last six months?

50? That's great! I'm proud of the 20 I've lost in the past six months, and that was with some ups and downs over the holidays.
