Meetings all day Bret with the California Contingent....trying to figure out what to build for you guys for a new DRSA to make you millions with the Utilities paying the freight and the repairs.... looks promising but you guys are sure expensive...maybe if I'm real good I'll get yellow with envy from the patent office again.... WTF....eh?!!!
At YJ the motto is we steal the Best then then We build it to Not Last.
well.... yeah... still got my job. But i didnt get to work today. Why is it that it almost always seems like the service techs are the only ones penalized? I mean I told the office back in the beginning of Jan I needed it changed, but because what the boss told me and told someone else were two different stories, that I am the one who lost an 8 hr day but no one in the office ever does! Doesnt sound fair does it?
Hello all. Back from Vegas, and today we are getting a snow storm. Had a riot. Bret, I hope that your job stuff gets straightened out.
Did you have a good time?
The screening Company called me to thinking they were calling one of my past employers I could barley understand the guy making the call his accent was so heavy. I tell you this screening company is a joke.
I about ready to start looking if this doesn't change.
We get the same thing where I am. You'll see a plow driving by and he doesn't have his blade down or spreader going.
Actually on my birthday I let a plow driver know how I felt. Me, my best friend, and his girlfriend were driving back from supper and the highway we were on was in horrid shape. Anyways we hit a straight stretch that looked pretty bad and there were horrible crosswinds. He has an Echo hatchback and the wind knocked the rear end out. He tried to get it back but made it worse and we headed towards the ditch at 60MPH sideways. We hit the snow and it was like the car was in a tornado because snow was flying everywhere. Then the car started to tip on my side and I thought for a moment that I was going to die. Like in all honesty time stood still all I could feel was the car tipping. Then we hit the bottom of the ditch and the car came to a stop. It's about 5*F out and the cars flooding because of the ditch. We end up getting a ride back to town and a tow truck comes out to get us and takes us back to recover the car. Since I had some experience loading skid steers on roll offs I lent him a hand and as we almost had the car on the truck a highway plow comes by. Sure enough-blade up and no spreading but has a box full of salt. He slows down to look so I look right up at the truck and showed him what I thought with one finger.
I know... wasn't his fault. He has a job to do. But considering there were supposedly four cars recovered from that same stretch earlier that day you'd think someone would tell the plows to take care of it.
