    Thanks for the input everyone. Don't worry about the cheerios. I was thinking the same thing.

    I talked to a friend of mine who's doing his Block training. He told me the same thing. He said if I went the "Trane" route I would end up being exposed to Trane controls and that's about it. And like everyone has said it's better to get time in out in the field then go and specialize.

    He also told me he see's similar patterns among apprentices. For example guys who have worked solely on ammonia or controls have harder times doing Block training for the fact they haven't had the exposure to the other stuff.

    I think it had a bit to do with how I presented myself. I saw a few colleagues resumes and they were black/white/functional where as I got a little creative and tried to put my best game/presentation face on during the interview. Maybe that made me stand out? He told one guy he'd like him to go into sales but he's a got a certain charm about him that would make someone want to buy something from him.

    And thank you for the Honeywell book. I'll see how much of that I can digest but I think I will stay the course of getting my Red Seal that way I haven't spent all this money and not have something next to my name.

    My god yes to many permit teeth in one place a lot of permit teeth missing in others.

    Cool part was the Orthodontist and I were at the University of Chicago at the same time and work the Univ of Chicago Hosp at the time.
