Good afternoon Laddies.....
Spent a wee more time in Edinburgh and at the castle today....
This city's beautiful and very polite gracious people....very impressed....

They are not very progressive. It looks the same as it did 8 years ago when I was there.
Are you going to drive down to do the Nessie tour? It is a bit deliberately corny, but a well worth it lake cruise with a tour of a more delapidated castle on the water. I still have two camera film canisters of Loch Ness water with a stone from the lake in each one. I'll let you all know if a little Nessie starts to grow from them.
Loch Ness is not very wide, but it is really long and very deep.

No I'll likely not make it to LockNess....
I am likely going to try and make it up to the site of the World Cup Downhill Mtn Bike race in Scotland, Fort William and do a ride as well as to Glentress just south of us....
I am so awed and humbled by the architecture here. It is so rich and ornate. The private school they took us to last night ( http://www.fettes.com/ ) was unbelievable. It makes you realize how young and unsophisticated North America is....
To Art's shock....I did make it into a church and did make it out in one piece although I did stick to the round part so the devil couldn't corner me....
Here's a picture of the front of the place we were at last night....very, very impressed with the people and the culture...

As you migfht know, my grandpa was from Rutherglen. Lots of neat stuff in scotland.
I'd be looking to play a round at Old Saint Andrew's.

Update on the "Old One" @ Shady Pines. The infection in my leg has now been diagnosed as osteomyelitis.
RAM Teaching Tomorrows Technicians Today.
Don't you just love it when they use some overly generic term to make it sound like they know what they are doing? This is almost as bad as after two years of extensive, weekly study for when I used to have nearly daily headaches, they diagnosed me as having multiple headache syndrome....DUH!?
This is why we say that the medical industry "practices" medicine.
