82 degF when we went out snorkeling at Molokini Crater at 7am this morning.....breezy coming back in to Turtle Town but was nice to get back into the 81 degF ocean again....

To us dumb a$$ Canucks he doesn't look/sound clueless....he's got an answer for EVERYTHING....
You guys NEED socialized medicine.....that way 90% of your elderly will stop coming up to Canada to buy their meds at 1/6 what your drug companies have been gouging, er I mean 'free marketing without lobbying and thus controlling the govt.' enterprise charging....

I'm more concerned about the Canuks who get on busses every day to come to American hospitals where they get their cancer operations that week, instead of six or none months down the road. Some have died waiting. If we pass this piece of fecal matter, those busses will stop running.

The cool thing about Canadian healthcare is that the more important you are, the better your care. The PM waits for nothing, and neither will Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid.

Folks like me, as they say in the intro to Casablanca, will wait, and wait, and wait....

Actually if we didn't have the hundreds of thousands of Yanks coming up to 'live' in Canada for 6 months less a day so they could legally get their free socialized medicine including free knee/hip/cataract operations and millions of dollars worth of free or subsidized prescriptions that would break them in the USA....... well we wouldn't need to bus them Canucks down there The Canuck system ain't perfect but everyone gets treated the same...unless you want to go 'buy it' somewhere else in the world....as with anything...

Open your eyes and your mind their TB.....there's actually a great big wide wonderful world out there with some very nice people in it....maybe, just maybe even that guy getting shave ice today was put there for a reason.....try 449......or did God take the month off and give you the job???

Was 25 out with windchill at 18 this am. lots of wind here to. 30 mph.

Doug, a free republic requires critical thinking.

Your low cost drugs are available because WE subsidize them, by paying for the r&d costs HERE.

If we add even 15 million more folks to our free medical plan here, without adding more doctors and hospitals (and many bright young people are now turning away from medicine on the advice of their physician parents) the only logical conclusion is that we will be waiting, and those Canadians will be dying. It's true.

God also requires us to be good stewards of the lives he has given us. He encourages PERSONAL charity, not governmental. Nowhere in His teaching is the idea that a believer should petition the governments of Man to look after the poor. In fact, He said "the poor will be with you always," which suggests that a government cannot solve poverty.

Charity is a gift from one to another. It is never effective as an entitlement. Here in the US, we have proved that.
