    RSES CM

Hardest test I've taken to date. Am considering taking a Specialist test soon

Will do, Art. If I recall correctly, when RSES redesigned their website, I had trouble logging in and there is another member that shares my name.

I'll bet he is a CM and doesn't even know it

Good morning Bret and everyone just got in 18 hour day, I'm so grateful that I have the opportunity to work. My last call of the day was at a restaurant, I had everything set up to go in and clean their air handlers above the kitchen celing. I had noticed I bad vibration in a york furnace horazonaly suspended over the celing. It takes a good 30 minutes to cut the vent pipes and remove half the hardware in this york furnace to gain acess to the blower compartment. I figured sense it had been running for a year without a filter it just needed a good cleaning. Opened it up and found literally one inch of flower on everything. Blower houseing was cracked in 3 spots just laying in the blower compartment. The blower deck was cracked all the way through one side. Had to pull the secondary heat exchanger and spent 30 min. degreasing and cleaning it. there was litterlay 2" of flower cakeing the exchanger absolutly no airflow was going across this thing. Now I got to go back tomorrow at 10 with parts and put it back together.

This whole thing turned out to be a blessing. Because of this high dollar repair that needs to be made to his kitchen unit, I have convenced him a service contract for all of his restaurants would save him from these costly repair bills.

Then the call before that unit triped on high limit. I found a bad cap got the blower going and then found a couple hairline crackes in the heat exchanger this is no CO so I documented it and let them know it was a G20 and Lennox has a 20 year warranty on the heat exchanger and would call them with some options tomorrow. They were extremly pleased that I would give them the option to repair the equipment. Insted of shutting off the gas and telling them they need a new furnace tomorrow. Or selling them a capacitor insted of a high dollar motor they didn't need.

I'm really pleased how everything is falling into place and the opportunites that came my way lately. If I continue to do things the way I"m doing them I really think I have a chance to owning a very secessfull business. I'm finding lately just by sticking to my pricaples, beeng honest, working as hard as I can, and doing my absolute bery best at everything I do, and liveing my life the right way, that my dreams of owning a sucessfull business are starting to come to me.

Right now I can honesly say that I've never been happier in my life. I always knew I would never be happy working for someone else. Now I'm realising that I acctually might have the opportunity to live out my dreams.

My back went out this morning pretty bad, it's pushing against the syatic nerve I got a 8-9 pain down to my legs. A month ago I would have went home and taken it easy. But today I didn't whine and moan about it I just gritted my teeth an got my work done. And the only thing I had to say about the situation was how thankfull I was that I could still work. My whole outlook on life had changes so much sense James has gotten me hooked up with some really good customers. And I owe all this to James without him helping me get my foot in the door locally I would have never been able to get enough customers fast enough to make money.

We'll it's 3 AM, I'm still high on life, my back hurts like hell and I have to be to work in 5 hours to put in another 18 hour day. A month ago I would have been in a pretty bad attitude putting in all these hours. Now I'll work 20 hours a day 7 days a week if I half too, and you won't hear me complaing about it either.

    Update from yesterday

The test for MG was Neg. so that good.

the EMG right off was "OK"

    EEG No news

    MRI NO news

    LEMS blood test no news

so Cause of seizures still unknown and cause of Fatigue and falling might be LEMS but still not sure,

Doc said , "if it's not LEMS then we'll need to talk but he wants to wait till the LEMS Test come in before he wants to talk about anything"

    LEMS
"Lambert-Eaton syndrome is a disorder in which faulty communication between nerves and muscles leads to muscle weakness.

    Causes, incidence, and risk factors
Lambert-Eaton syndrome occurs when nerves cells do not release enough of a chemical called acetylcholine. This chemical transmits impulses between nerves and muscles.

The result is muscle weakness and other symptoms similar to myasthenia gravis. However, unlike myasthenia gravis, as the muscles continue to contract, acetylcholine can build up in large enough amounts for strength to improve slightly. Instead of the muscle getting quickly weaker as it contracts repeatedly, it gets stronger for a short period of time.

Lambert-Eaton syndrome may occur with cancers such as small-cell lung cancer or autoimmune disorders such as vitiligo, which leads to a loss of skin pigment"

I called them yesterday. I got a little certificate on the occasion of 5 years of membership. The certificate didn't say 'CM' so I called them.

I just asked if it was normal for CM members to be addressed as such in correspondence and was told that it was.

Fortunately for me, I kept the certificates they sent. I faxed them over and my wife got a call today stating that I have been correctly recognized as Jeremy Smith CM.

Soon time for an 'S' .....

Well, that's good. I thought I'd have to call RSES and give them a piece of my mind.

Not too big a piece, mind you.
