Man.... where are you guys? I am not on call.... but our on call guy is getting slammed! Its suppose to be about 55 today and he already has 5 calls. He called the service manager telling him what he had (he has a boiler issue in a house) and the service manager told him to ask me if I would go to that house with the pulse boiler I did some work on. (replace spark plug, diaphragms and gasket). So I guess I will get ready and go see the lady. I just hope it resets at least till Monday! I dont want a can of worms opened today!

Then went to another locaton to help another tech, older gentleman proably around 60 or so. He said he's been in out of the trade 12 times comeing back into the trade from a welder. He was an HVAC technican in the army, very nice fellow as well I'm sure I could learn a lot from him. Anyhow I helped him locate and repair a leak on a 200 ton chiller. That was the first time I've use an H-10, I see why so many people here like it. Now I just got another call the furnace in the springs I fixed the blower on last friday isn't working again, he says the pilot won't stay lit this time. He told me to come down tomorrow so that works for me, I got a gas valve on my personal truck and I can stop and get a thermocouple tomorrow at ACE hardware and I should be set there. Maybe James will sell a furnace tomorrow and put me to work on Sunday.
Hope the new Job works out great.

I was on call, so I spent a couple of hours writing an article for the educational forums on basic electricity.

Hello everyone, interesting call today on my no heat call, no gas coming out of the meter but had gas coming in. I took the meter off and bypassed it. About that time the maintenance man for the trailer park showed up and said that was ok I saved him from doing any work today, he would come buy and put on a new meter monday.

That's one I've never done. Around here, it sounds like a stack of papers with sigatures just to touch the meter....
