We'll see.
A clamp sensor (or something similar) is on my birthday list for the end of May.
While I understand the cost factor, having the convenience of the pre-made and purpose built clamp is NICE.
I love my Fluke and Fieldpiece line clamps. I have some clamps around that will be applied for the DCs for now, but getting Doug's clamps are on the list.

Good Morning everyone. I'm going to drink coffee for another hour or so. Then I need to get my truck set up then head up to Estes Park to have Thanksgiving with my friends from back home. Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving.

Hating school is often a sign of a hidden intellect. Think about it: if you had to be in school in the past two decades, with all that politically correct crap, wouldn't you hate it too? I can't help but think there is a key to this kid, and it just hasn't been found yet.

I get a kick out of this age...yah, I know I am too old....
I remember when I was young my Dad told me that 'it's got very little to do with what you want....but what you need to do'. IMHO, we need to expose (read: shove them into some $hit sometimes even though they don't like it) our kids to some hard work, labour, book learning/school so they will thank us later....As parents we are not in a popularity contest.....it's about 'guiding' our kids into the right choices. Ain't no free frickin lunch in this house....they work from 10 years old on and 'contribute' to the family first then society. Too much these days about what I want instead of what I need to do...
I forced all three of my daughters to ride shotgun with me for a couple weeks each summer and crawl around in $hithole crawlspaces full of water, rat $hit, carcasses etc so they could see what their old man did to feed them and pay their school....they are all self starters now and since they have a 'relative scale' now, they choose to be hard working......
Send him up here for a month.....we'll break him in for ya....

Thats just it! He is by far a smart kid! He just doesnt want to apply himself for some reason. Its the lazy way out for him. Man... ay 14 he was working in a friends dads pizza joint.... couldnt get hm to stay home. Everyone commented on his work ethic. Maybe he is serious about working for me. Maybe thats a spark I need!?!?!
