    1 st year I did it only took about 4 hour (I think about a 12 lb) Then the one 2 yr ago Was about the same size I thought?

    We smoke meat all the time. The last turkey we did was 18 hours.

    pretty big, but I slow smoke it with very low heat, then when it isn't absorbing anymore smoke, wrap it up and let it slow cook.

    Line sizes between 7/8 and 2 5/8 aren't uncommon at all.

    Some smaller and a few larger.

    I've been looking at doing that anyway.

    A clamp sensor (or something similar) is on my birthday list for the end of May.

    While I understand the cost factor, having the convenience of the pre-made and purpose built clamp is NICE.

    I love my Fluke and Fieldpiece line clamps. I have some clamps around that will be applied for the DCs for now, but getting Doug's clamps are on the list.
