I did only a little more than I planned to.
Pulled up the floor, replaced it and replaced the bottom row of tiles.
Yes, I know that they don't match, but that color was almost IMPOSSIBLE to match.
I know that vinyl tile isn't the best option for a bathroom floor, but it is what I could afford (not using credit) and the job NEEDED to be done.
I wish I had some before pictures for you guys.
Long term plan is this:
Build a small utility bathroom and shower in the basement using a grinder pump type setup for the toilet, THEN, when this bathroom needs done again, I will have the time to do it properly.

Yep.
My wife looked in the box and all she said was "Really?"
She doesn't get it.
My impressions of it so far are that it is a well built tool. Solid and simple to operate.
It will take a little while to get used to the way it works.
I also figured it would be more straightforward to mount to the manifold. It was a little fiddly.
I guess I should buy one of Doug's manifolds.

i believe you. been there, done that, bought the t-shirt.
last house i redid the kitchen, complete, moved the plumbing wall, knocked down a wall, tore out and raised 1 floor, 3 new windows, new opening with a glass slider to a 2 level deck with pool, new cabinets. made most of the trim. built the top, etc. took me 2 years. but thru it all, she had a place to prepare, cook and wash, with two little guys running away with my tools. that was a character builder
