Nothing we can identify as being related to the Avastin.

She also went back on the Xeloda, and that makes her tired because it knocks down her h&h.
Then, she goes in for two units of high test.

I think she is doing great, but on some days, its hard to convince her of that. I'm sure you can relate! You both are doing great as far as I can tell!

I just registered and this is my first reply! My little sister ( now 47 ) got cancer 25 years ago and she beat it and so will you. You have a great attitude and family is everything. Being part of a brotherhood is awsome too. I could be anywhwhere on the web; but I'm here and have been on Refrigeration Engineer for years now. Like a lot of guys; I'm addicted to HVAC/R and that's why I'm here now and am awsome at what I do. I'm happy I read this about you; you have helped me a LOT, and I want you to know that. Times are tough right now and I am sorry you have to go through this right now. I'll keep you in our prayers tonight. God Bless You! LOL,
    Daniel

Well the fall monsoons are here on the 'wet' coast......
Would be drier after my 5am bike ride if I jumped into a swimming pool with my clothes on.....but it was worth it for the company I get to be with...

Said a good couple of words for all youse in need......I swear I'm closer to God up that mountain.....as well as my old Pa....

Hope Julie feels a little better today Art, take it slow and easy Bret and my brother's cancer treatment is about to start......so I said a couple good words for him too...

Off to fix a leak on a 30 ton W/W WFI unit today.....oh yah....apparently you don't need vibrasorbers on 15 ton scrolls.....well at least not for the first 16 months!!!

I'm sure that your brother is doing the related web research on this. One thing I found interesting in the past couple of years since a friend of mine was in treatment, is that the PSA test is not to gold standard indicator of needed surgery that they used to think it was. In fact,. one of the medical journal articles was suggesting that a lot of surgeries are not needed just because of an elevated PSA. I also read that targeted radiation therapy is often a better approach if a biopsy is positive.

I'm sure you and your brother will seek a second opinion at least, and find the course that is most effective based on risk and outcome.

We've both got the same family doctor, Dan and then another kick ass Urologist, and as well an oncologist that's got him on the 'female' hormones first to shrink prior to the irradiation....
I agree the PSA is like using an odometer to measure inches...
