This Canuck is off to the You-knighted states of Murica tomorrow...if they let me across the 49th.....
We're over budget so I should be coming back with a couple new a$$holes....all facets of the systems work better than any of their systems have in 50 years, quieter, more versatile, 1000 tons of GHP doing process cooling, with 20% more added to the equipment and versatility....but your 25% over the estimate you gave us before we had drawings, specs (oh we never did get you those did we?) and we secured multiple contracts with green conscious buyers BUT.....
Oh well let's rip it all out and put the ammonia POS back in...

Well my first call tomorrow is going to be fun!
went to a house that had a 7.5 ton system installed many yrs ago. Well in 94 I believe... they lost the condensing unit. The "other" company put in a 4 ton hp and a 3.5 ton hp. 2 stage cooling tstat. Well.. the main disconnect outside had pieces of copper? (or whatever they used to jumper the knife switch....). to two non fused disconnects. The breaker for that is a sub panel in the garage that had a 100 amp breaker to that disconnect.
His 100 amp brkr went bad when i got him up and cooling last week. Installed a 45 amp brkr to get the 4ton going. (made sure the 3.5 t wouldnt run.) I get to go back.. .install 2 fused disconnects and replace the 45 brkr with a new 100 amp brkr. I believe he is going with our maintenance plan... so will have to do that too. The old guy really liked me.... wanted only me to come back.
Oh... I also get to figure out what is wrong with his 3.5 t hp that isnt working right.
guess I will be there most of the AM.
