'Morning Bret and everyone. Doug, I completely understand you as I wouldn't want the NDP to be running the show over here either. Doug, I have been considering the move to alpha-bravo, but it involved going during the 3rd year of my apprenticeship, so I can cut the process down by a year and go for the big bucks as a journeyman early on. The Mrs. isn't too keen on the idea of going now but didn't give a definite no either. Gonna take more yapping.

REALLY? Damn here we were thinking of hitting up the mainland in a few years. So now the decision is communism vs. Torontonians. Well.....when I put it that way, Id almost rather live in Great best of all Korea, North Korea!
Oh Canada, Our home and native land.
Give me free health care, though I wasnt even born here!
With angered hearts we see the rise of the prices at Timmies
God keep our land, and our subsidized Audi.
Oh Canada please stand on guard for me.
Sorry for all the broken sarcasm detectors. The gruppyness is strong with this one.
In other news passed my basic/block 2/first time you get laid off to go to school. Now I hear about it when I F up. One step forward...two steps back. And im expected to start passing my knowledge down to first years now. Joys of apprenticeship.
Doug, do you see the great new institution that Ontario has brought in? A yearly rate to keep your license under the guise of actually doing stuff for you as an apprentice and journeyman.

Thank god Ontario now has a system to review training ratios all the time when there is more workers than work.
Get money, get paid.
Good morning, Bret and everyone!

'Morning Bret and everyone. Ray, since I'm not officially a part of the team and only deal with the TSSA for now, is the college of trades an actual government body or a "designated authority" like TSSA? Note to our friends from outside of Ontario: TSSA regulates gas fitters and some other trades, but it's not a government organization. It's a private organization to whom the government has just given regulatory authority.

....which is another arm's length corporation that essentially has NO responsibility to either the govt or the people they laud over......we've got a $hitload of 'em here in BC......and you can't fire them, hold them responsible for any decisions and they continue to 'build their empires' without a care of what they were intended to initially do....!!

My Daughter in Law said she went outside today and the wind started to blow and the pollen looked like waves at the ocean blowing towards her.
